 "Jim Faydenko's company remodeled
our kitchen in June of 2000. The job took 6 weeks to totally complete
including necessary city inspections. We had new cabinets, new appliances,
wallpaper teardown and painting, new countertops. updated electrical work, and
tiling done. The kitchen looks beautiful and is so much more functional than
before.
Jim gave us a thorough estimate of our remodeling job and suggested some
wonderful aesthetic and functional changes in our cabinetry. He suggested places
to go for those items we would need to choose (e.g., cabinets, sink, tile,
appliances), but was not opposed to us going to other vendors if we desired. He
provided the pros and cons of choices to help us make an educated decision.
Jim's main crew of 3 men were polite, friendly, and considerate of our property
and personal lives. They told us when they would be back each day. The work area
was contained and papered to limit any tracking of dirt and debris. They cleaned
up as needed daily. They kept us apprised of how the job was progressing. They
were sticklers for details and since we were new at this game, provided ideas
when asked or the job needed. His electrician and plumbers were equally
professional and knowledgeable about their areas- They were on time and-showed
the same-respect for our home. We were hesitant to go ahead with this remodeling
job, because we beard so many horror stories from people who had used other
companies or did the job themselves. But we're so glad we proceeded forward.

"Thank you for the wonderful
remodel of
my kitchen, laundry room and 1/2 bath! As you know, I spent a long time
thinking about this project. I think I first spoke with you three years ago. I
was concerned about the cost and disruption to my home. I was worried I would
spend too much money and then would be disappointed in the results. Now,
everyone asks me if there is anything I would change and I say, "No!"
I couldn't have done this job without Remodeling Remedies. Gary, Terry, Steve
and Terry were great to work with. Even the dog liked having them in the house!
When I said something was good enough, they said, "Oh, no. It's not right. Jim
wouldn't like it if we didn't do it right." In one case, they added one inch to
a wall so the crown molding wouldn't hang over the edge. Terry spent an amazing
amount of time making sure my triple stacked crown on top of the cupboards was
installed so no nail holes would show and the glaze wouldn't crack. He even
suggested a change to the plan for the crown, which made it look much better.
They never left my house without cleaning up and vacuuming if needed, even when
I would see they were tired after a long day. They were great communicators and
made sure things were done as I envisioned.
I loved the before and after pictures you gave me at the end of the job. My
favorite it the pantry turned into a bar! What a mess that pantry was! We had a
part last weekend and the bar was a hit.
Your subcontractors for electrical and plumbing were also great guys.
Truthfully, my only regret is that I didn't use your hardwood floor person!
Instead I found my own guy and that was a disaster.
Thank you for helping me to find the best cabinets, faucets and appliances at
the best price and for being so thorough in pricing.
I told the guys at the beginning of the job that if I every felt like crying
over anything I would leave the room first. Unless it was about the hardwood
floor guy, I'm pretty sure I never had to leave the room. There's a
recommendation for you, "We didn't make her cry!" I was so emotional over this
project that is amazing. Thank you again for a great remodeling experience.!"
